Carmen Antonian
Today, we feature Carmen Antonian.
Carmen Antonian grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where she went to school at the University of San Fransisco earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in international business and marketing. Carmen also minored in music where she bettered her musicianship and singing techniques. Carmen currently works for Sycomp in Silicon Valley as a marketing manager.
Growing up, Carmen always had a passion for being in the kitchen. Her love for cooking and baking has grown throughout the years. In 2016, she founded Cooking with Carm -a platform to share all her delicious creations with the world on Facebook and Instagram. When she’s not in the kitchen or working, Carmen loves to travel, sing and enjoy life with family and friends.

Q: What is your life philosophy?
Make the most out of each day as you never know what tomorrow will bring. Embrace what you have and those you have around you.

To have a world of equality, kindness and peace.
Q: What is your favorite thing about being Armenian?
I love the sense of community no matter where you are in the world! Our food is also the best! I love introducing our unique delicacies to friends.
How has the Armenian culture shaped/influenced you?
I have always kept the Armenian culture and community close to me throughout my life. I chose where to go to college based on how close I would be from my Armenian support system. I have been lucky to grow up in an amazing Armenian family where traditions and values have been the center of my life. My family moved to this country from Turkey for new beginnings and opportunities. The hardship my parents, grandparents, and ancestors have gone through by living in Turkey, has motivated me to keep the Armenian culture and traditions alive. I am proud to be Armenian!
