This year, we place a special emphasis on our long-term projects dedicated to our resilient sisters and their families who have been forcibly displaced from Artsakh, providing them with the skills training, support and opportunities they need to thrive.

Introducing the initiative: AIWA EmpowerPath – Transforming Lives, Building Communities.

We will partner with two organizations to transform lives and communities by creating joint programs to provide access to education and economic opportunities.

AIWA x Hub Artsakh Development NGO
Serving the communities in Yerevan and surrounding areas, Tsaghkadzor and Ashtarak.

A dynamic initiative aimed at supporting women forcibly displaced from Artsakh to enhance their employability and rebuild their lives in their new environment. This program is designed to empower women with new skills that are tailored to their needs, interests, and the unique challenges they face. The program will focus on Beauty, Textile and Food business sectors which allow women the flexibility to work on their own terms.

AIWA x Armenia Round Table Foundation (ART)
Serving the communities in the border regions.

The project will support female-led households forcibly displaced from Artsakh with micro-grants for livelihood and to start businesses, based on individual needs and capacities. Support will be provided in the form of capacity building, consulting, skills-based training, purchase and donation of what is needed (e.g. livestock, fodder, equipment, etc.). The border regions being served are the most vulnerable in terms of human security and poverty, hosting a significant number of displaced people and stretched capacity.
