Today, we feature Anahit Stelmashova

Name: Anahit Stelmashova
“My name is Anahit Stelmashova, I live in Akhalkalaki, Georgia, I am 11. When I was 5 my mom taught me to play a simple children song on the piano, since then music has entered my life and won my heart. In the same autumn, I both enrolled in a music school for a piano class. And began performing at various concerts, participate in different contests and festivals, both in Georgia and abroad, including Armenia, such as the sixth international festival “NEW NAMES” in Yerevan in2016, where I had the chance to talk with talented Armenian children from Armenia, Malta, Russia, Bulgaria as well as to exchange experiences with them. In general, I really like to participate in contests and festivals because they give me a chance for a better work on myself for getting acquainted with many interesting and talented people. Each of them gives me something in a professional sense. From 2014 to 2017 I became a laureate and prize-winner of such festivals as ” Future stars” held in Tbilisi, Batumi, Marmaris in Turkey and Pesaro in Italy. During the festival in 2016 I played with the Batumi Symphony Orchestra for the first time( it was 5 concert Bach in F minor), it was amazing, exciting and very pleasant. Then there was “From Festival to Festival”, ’’Under One Sky “and so on.

I was very busy in 2017, as I participated in the international competition of junior and young pianists in Yerevan named after Arno Babajanyan , where I performed Vagharshapat dance, and got the second prize and a special jury prize.
I was very lucky to get an audition for the famous Georgian pianist, Unesco artist for peace Elisso Bolkvadze, who played a huge role in my life, by introducing me to the famous French composer Professor of Philosophy Michel Sogny (by whose method I am engaged now by). It was she who gave me a chance to visit Paris and take master classes with the maestro twice, and to perform at the Christmas concert arranged by “sos talents”, the founder of which Mr. Sogny is, in Bonaparte palace in Paris.
I also became the owner of the Grand Prix at the “Batumi Music Fest” founded by Mrs. Bolkvadze in Batumi, a very bright and beautiful music festival that gave me new chances and impetus to do better and achieve higher goals. I also have achievements and awards in karate tournaments and championships in Georgia and Armenia.

I was born and live in Georgia, my ancestors were Armenians from Erzrum and Van, my great-grandfather was Ukrainian, therefore my surname is Stelmashova. I am proud that I am from Georgia because this country gave the Armenian people such names as Sayat Nova, Derenik Demerchyan,Vahan Teryan, Ashug Jivani, Charles Aznavour and so on.
