Jill shares some of her life perspective, for staying ‘Focused After Babies’ (FAB) with AIWA-SF: The phrase that kicks me into getting motivated, when I feel like I might not be equipped or ‘good enough’ to do something, is “Stupider people than me have done this… so I can too.” I’ve used this silly philosophy as serious motivation to tackle career goals (television work, creating my website/brand, writing my book) and also apply it to regular family life (raising two daughters while handling today’s modern motherhood stressors). As an American-Armenian, I’ve also always felt a positive push to put myself out there and try my best, even if things don’t shake out the way I might plan… my great-grandparents came here for freedom and success, so it’s up to me (and all of us, in our own families) to live in a way that honors everything they were forced to overcome.
