THE ARMENIA FUND, A Growing Need: Conversing with Maria Mehranian

With a rising urgency to gather funds for the survival of the Armenian nation and Artsakh, Maria Mehranian will answer questions that explain the extent of the work done in Artsakh and Armenia over the years since its inception in 1994 and the impact it will have in supporting our sisters and brothers in Artsakh. While creating a better homeland through urban and rural development, including schools with roads and highways, water infrastructure, public health and medicine, and much needed veteran support, Armenia Fund is the one source that through donations directly affects the people and the future of Armenia.

Ms. Maria Mehranian is the President of Armenia Fund, Inc. the U.S. Western Region affiliate of Hayastan All Armenian Fund. She has held this volunteer position since 2016 having previously served as the Fund’s president in 2004-2008, when she established the Executive Office of the organization and laid the cornerstones for growth. Ms. Mehranian is Managing Partner and Chief Financial Officer for Cordoba Corporation, a full-service civil engineering, construction management, and program management firm. She is directly responsible for the firm’s strategic financial planning and overseeing the company’s statewide financial operations. She has shared her professional knowledge on numerous occasions and at various panels including the 2019 UN CSW63 with a focus on the importance of promoting, sponsoring and funding types of infrastructure in developing countries that enhance women’s access to capital, and ultimately results in economic and social empowerment of women.
