St. Mary’s Family Health Center

The “For Family and Health” Pan-Armenian Association (PAFHA) is an NGO that has developed sexual and reproductive health services for women in Yerevan. PAFHA envisions an inclusive society where every individual and family enjoys a healthy and fulfilled life and can make free and informed choices about their sexual and reproductive health. They work towards a society that values and safeguards gender equity, diversity, and human rights.

PAFHA has created a Polyclinic for All that consists of two divisions:

  1. The Static clinic (Youth Vernissage), which provides sexual and reproductive (SRH) related services; and
  2. The St. Mary’s Clinic, which provides non SRH services.

PAFHA also coordinated the production of the new 2010 Armenian language edition of the book, Our Bodies, Ourselves, which will be available soon as a PDF file on the AIWA website. AIWA has been proud to support this project led by Dr. Mary Khachikyan. AIWA has also supported Dr. Khachikyan’s participation as a featured speaker for the AIWA 20th anniversary conference.
